Known for his gripping performances in Coronation Street, Casualty, and the West End blockbuster musical The Bodyguard, Tristan Gemmill is set to bring a whole new level of villainy to the stage as Captain Hook. Last seen at the Theatre Royal starring in the courtroom thriller Twelve Angry Men in 2023, Tristan has also previously toured to Bath in the plays Henry V with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1997, Dangerous Corner in 1995, Rope in 1994 and Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell in 1993. Now returning to star in Bath’s pantomime, with his larger-than-life presence, razor-sharp wit, and menacing charm, he’ll have audiences shivering their timbers from the very first Arrr!

Joining Tristan is Jon Monie, Bath’s very own panto legend, back for his record-breaking 23rd season as the hilarious and hopelessly lovable Smee. Not only will Jon be serving up slapstick and side-splitting gags, but he has also penned the script, promising barrels of belly laughs and adventure by the shipload. His award-winning writing has charmed audiences nationwide, and this year’s pantomime is set to be his best yet.

But that’s just the beginning! UK Productions is pulling out all the stops with stunning choreography, spectacular costumes, and scenery that will leave audiences truly spellbound. Prepare to be dazzled by incredible flying sequences, pirate sword fights, and crocodile chases that will have panto goers on the edge of their seats. From the twinkling lights of Pixie Hollow to the stormy decks of Hook’s ship, the magic of Neverland will come alive in vivid, breathtaking detail.

The adventure follows Peter Pan, Smee, Tinker Bell, Emily Darling, and Ethel the Mermaid as they return to Neverland - but all is not well. Rumours are swirling that Captain Hook is back, more ruthless than ever, and plotting his revenge. Is it true? Can Peter Pan stop him once again? And could that ticking be...the Croc?

Martin Dodd, Managing Director of UK Productions and Producer of the pantomime, said: “Peter Pan is such a fantastic story and our very own Jon Monie has completely refreshed it with this sequel which has the magic of the original plus all the pantomime elements we know our audiences love – including special effects, laugh out loud comedy, great song and dance routines, and fabulous sets and costumes. With the tremendous Tristan Gemmill as villainous Captain Hook, never will your Swash have been so Buckled, so Hook your tickets today because the Croc is ticking!”
